Convert your video tapes to digital .mp4 movie files or DVD
Digitize your old home movie tapes.
We can transfer your video tapes, including VHS, 8mm, Digital 8, and Mini-DV camcorder tapes, to digital movie files (.mp4), or to DVD. VHS and camcorder tapes are getting harder to play, even if you can find a working machine, so have them transferred and saved on modern media today.

Video tape transfer to DVD or digital .mp4 files - Including VHS, 8mm and Mini-DV tapes.
VHS, VHS-C, Mini-DV, Hi 8, digital 8mm camcorder tapes, and 3/4" Umatic vdeo tapes converted to DVD, or to digital .mp4 movie files, and saved on a USB thumb drive. Digital movies which we save on a USB drive can be played on your computer, or most smart TVs.
Digital .mp4 movie files are about 3gb for 2 hours of video. Turn around time for video tapes converted to digital or DVD is one to two weeks.
Supported tape formats include: VHS, VHS-C, MiniDV, 8mm, Hi 8mm, Digital 8mm, MiniDV HD, MicroMV, Beta, Pal (European), and 3/4" Umatic.

Audio cassette tapes converted to CD or digital .mp3.
We can convert your audio cassette tapes to a playable CD, or we can convert your cassette tapes to a digital .mp3 file, and save it on a USB drive. Turn around time is two weeks, and please keep in mind that we cannot convert commercial audio cassette tapes that are copyright protected
Supported tape formats include: Audio cassette tapes, Digital Audio Tape (DAT), and micro audio cassette tapes.

Reel-to-Reel Audio tape converted to CD or digital music files (.mp3)
We can convert your reel to reel audio tape to a playable CD, or to a digital .mp3 file, and save it on a usb drive. Turn around time is two weeks, and we cannot transfer or convert reel-to-reel audio tapes that are copyright protected.
* The minimum charge is $40.00 per reel for 3" and 5" reels, The charge for 7 inch reels, where the charge is $40 per reel, or the per-minute charge, whichever is higher.
Typical run times:
3" reel: Less than 5 minutes
5" reel: 150'- 7.5 to 15 minutes, 300' 15 to 30 minutes, 600' - 30 to 60 minutes
7" reel: 1200'- 1-2 hours, 1800'-1.5-3 hours, 2400' - 2-4 hours, 3600' - 3-6 hours

Should I get a digital movie files or a DVD from my video tapes?
We often have customers ask which is better: Digital movie files (.mp4) or DVD? The answer really depends on whether you want to be able to watch the converted videos on your DVD player, or if watching them on another device is an option for you. DVD players have not been newly manufactured for several years, although Blu-Ray players will play DVD movies. But, with the video saved as an .mp4 digital movie file, you will be able to copy and transfer your videos for years to come, without worry.
TIP: We cannot transfer or convert video tapes that are copyright protected.
